Rampur, Nov 15 (ANI): Visitors thronged the much-awaited 'Lavi Fair' (trade fair) in Rampur city of India's northern Himachal Pradesh state on Monday. This is one of the oldest trade fairs, promoting farm produce, handicrafts and handlooms. The annual trade fair was inaugurated by Chief Minister of India's Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh in Rampur with much fanfare. This four-day trade fair, which is organised in November every year, is said to be 500 years old and the provincial government also refers it to as an International Trade Fair. The four-day event is said to be a source of revenue generation for farmers and locals.
