Ajmer, May 23 (ANI): On the occasion of Anchor World Museum Day visitors, specially the youth, thronged to the ancient Ajmer Fort of Rajasthan to relive their ancient tradition and culture, in the two-day heritage exhibition. The heritage exhibition organized in the precincts of the ancient fort of Mughal Emperor Akbar in Naya Bazaar area of Ajmer was inaugurated by the south Ajmer legislator, Anita Bhadel. The curator, Himmat Singh Shekhawat, said that the two-day exhibition aims to promote the idea of restoring the past and understanding its importance in daily lives. Paintings by an eminent artist of Shivam Sharde Art Centre in Ajmer, Mamta Devada, were also displayed. Ancient Ajaipal temple, Dargah Sharif, Clock Tower, St. Anselm’s Church, the puicturesque places of Pushkar and the fort of Taragarh were portrayed through the artist’s 30 paintings. Devada said that the idea behind the exhibition was to make people aware of their rich culture and heritage. The crowds that thronged the ancient fort were proof that the venture was a grand success.
