Update: Isuzu has launched its automatic MU-7 SUV in India at Rs 23.9 lakh, ex-Showroom New Delhi.
The company had earlier teased the model on its official website with the "coming soon" tag.

Although the company had not announced the launch date of MU-7, the folks at Indian Autos Blog had expected it to launch the SUV in India on Wednesday, 22 July. The publication also managed to get the spy shots of MU-7 automatic, which is believed to have been taken at a dealership.
From the images, the immediately apparent change in the automatic variant of MU-7 is the dashboard, which now comes with dual-tone black and beige colour theme. Apart from this, the automatic SUV is likely to remain the same as its manual variant in terms of styling and design.
Under the hood, MU-7 is likely to pack the same 3.0-litre, four-cylinder intercooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 160 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. As for features, MU-7 is expected to pack, new steering wheel, 2 AC vents with controls and 16-inch alloy wheels.
In addition to this, Isuzu MU-7 is also likely to get safety features like Anti-lock Breaking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Dual airbags.
