New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Israel Defence Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Thursday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. The two leaders shook hands and exchanged pleasantries before discussing matters of interest to both nations. Ya'alon arrived in India on Wednesday (February 18) to attend the Aero India show and hold talks with his Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar and help sell his country's arms industry to the world's largest defence importer and promote deepening military ties between the two nations. India and Israel, which only established full diplomatic ties in 1992, are developing an increasingly close commercial and political relationship, particularly since Modi was elected last May.
