The euphoria among fans to witness the ISL 2016 final stepped up, after Kerala Blasters overpowered Delhi Dynamos in the most dramatic way possible to make it to their second final in three years. To face a relatively known team like Atletico de Kolkata once again in the final, was just the icing on the cake.

The roads definitely lead to the JLN Stadium Kochi on Sunday for the most exciting and crucial match of ISL 2016.

Unfortunately, the message has always been that whenever there is something special on the cards, you need to plan prior or lose out on the opportunity. Similar thing transpired this time around as well, as the tickets got sold out more than two days ahead of the match, the Times of India reported.

The online ticket sales for the ISL 2016 final started back on December 7, but by Thursday morning, they were sold out. Online portal BookMyShow had to reissue fresh tickets later in the day, but even that came to an end by evening.

"I was waiting for Blasters to enter the final. I tried to book tickets online soon after Blasters won their semi-final but I didn't succeed," Kerala Blasters fan Manju, hailing from Tripunithura, told TOI. "And now I'm hearing that the offline tickets too are unavailable which means I'll miss the final match."

The Northern part of Kerala has reportedly been hit the most. This area brings out most of the Kerala Blasters fans.

"There are no tickets available in our town. Even BookMyShow has a sold-out sign," added Razi from Malappuram. "So don't know from where we will get tickets now."
