The semi-finals of the Indian Super League 2015 are just knocking on the door, and one thing is for sure, the tunes of 'Let's Football' will not die down a bit.

ISL brought India to the football map of the world on a grander scale in the inaugural season itself, and this year, the level just went a notch higher. The 56 league games of the season produced football at its best, and it was not only the foreigners who were brewing their magic, the Indian footballers also stepped to the fore.

And the crowd, needless to say, continued coming in numbers, and there wasn't a single day when people didn't log on to post their pre-match and post-reactions in the social media. So much so, that cricket legend and co-owner of Kerala Blasters Sachin Tendulkar, was awed with the response this time.

"I'm thrilled that their [the normal people's] response has been special and people are following not only the foreign players but the domestic players too," Tendulkar recently spoke to Fifa.com. "They [the Indian players] are becoming heroes, role models and overall that is how football in India is going to grow.

"With India's billion-plus population, if it grows it's definitely going to have a positive impact on football all over the world. The response has been phenomenal – we've had huge average crowds – so it's been fabulous."

Five matches remain this season, and the next four games remain the most crucial ones. The final match, needless to say, has the highest importance though. Four teams -- Defending champions Atletico de Kolkata, FC Goa, Delhi Dynamos, and Chennaiyin FC, will clash with each other in the two-legged playoffs, starting Friday.
