The Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 started off on a high with a pompous opening ceremony followed by a cracker of an encounter between Atletico de Kolkata and Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Marina Arena, in Chennai on 3 October earlier this year.

Till Sunday, the fans had no clue which teams will be pitted against each other in the semi finals of the ISL 2015 which starts from 11 December.

After 14 rounds and 56 matches in the league stage, we now have the top four teams and finally, after a long wait, the fixtures for the ISL 2015 have been revealed.

FC Goa and Delhi Dynamos locked horns on Sunday. The winner of the match would have taken the top spot in the points table of the ISL 2015. And The Gaurs from Goa scripted a scintiallting victory to secure the top spot. These two teams have been pitted against each other in the semi finals. The first leg will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on 11 December and the second leg will be played on 15 December at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa, in front of 19,000 football fans.

The other fixture is no less magnitude than the above one. Defending champions Atletico de Kolkata will be taking on Chennaiyin FC in the second semi final of the ISL 2015.

Atletico de Kolkata could not retain their position at the top of the table after losing out to Mumbai City FC in the last game of the league. Atletico de Kolkata will be travelling to Chennai for the first leg of the second semi final, which is supposed to be played on 12 December at the Marina Arena in Chennai. The second leg of this clash will be played in front of at least 60,000 fans at the Saltlake Stadium in Kolkata on 16 December.

People could not even guess which teams would make it to the final four of the ISL 2015. They had to wait until the last few games. There were a lot of permutations and combinations going on in their heads. Eventually, as the star-studded league started moving towards its business end, the picture became clearer.
