The Indian Super League (ISL) defending champions Atletico de Kolkata suffered a huge blow in their opening match of the ISL 2015 campaign after their marquee signing Helder Postiga was injured after scoring a brace against Chenniayin FC.

But now the wait is over as the former Portuguese international  forward is back in India again and has joined his side.

Postiga's injury was serious and for that he had to fly back to Portugal where the doctor put him under strict observation so that he recovers quickly.

Postiga also shared his pictures from Portugal where he was seen training so that he could make his return for Atletico de Kolkata again.

"Injuries are a passing phase in football. At this moment, I want to help my team in every way possible. I will try to recover in the fastest way possible," Postiga was quoted as saying by the official website of the ISL.

The return of the former Portuguese international forward has given a major boost to the entire Atletico de Kolkata side. They are currently in the fourth position of the ISL 2015 points table and would definitely want to make it to the semi-final of the tournament. For that, they would need this man from Portugal to fire as soon as possible. He loves Indian football and he is definitely happy to be back in India again.

"It's good to see that people show a lot of passion here. The players and the league are learning, and hopefully in the next few years, Hero ISL develops to become a much better league," Postiga said.
