The Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 opening ceremony was a star-studded affair. From Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Rajinikanth, the film industry biggies graced the event on Saturday evening in Chennai.

While Aishwarya, Alia Bhatt, AR Rahman sizzled the stage with their performances, superstar Rajinikanth, megastar Amitabh Bachchan joined the crowd to watch the inaugural football match.

The "Shaandaar" actress danced on her hit tracks, including "Radha" and "Disco Deewane" from "Student of the Year".

After making a comeback in films with "Jazbaa", Aishwarya returned on the stage as well to perform live. She shook a leg on her popular Bollywood songs and danced on some Tamil tracks.

The actress reportedly agreed to perform at the ISL 2015 inauguration to support her husband Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek is a co-owner of Chennaiyin FC team along with Vita Dani and cricketer MS Dhoni.

The first match of the league was between Chennaiyin FC and Atlético de Kolkata and it was held at Chennai's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Apart from the two beauties, AR Rahman took over the stage giving his voice to a song. The ceremony was also attended by actor Arjun Kapoor and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
