The teaser of the forthcoming Tamil movie "Iru Mugan" will be released on Sunday, April 17, on the occasion of Vikram's 50th birthday. The upcoming Tamil movie has been written and directed by Anand Shankar.

The news of the teaser release has thrilled fans of Vikram, who are now spreading the news about it on social media sites. His online fans clubs are engaging followers by asking questions related to the Tamil film. They are expected to trend the topic related to the teaser release and Chiyaan's birthday on Sunday.
It has been reported that it will be a one-minute teaser, and introduce Vikram's characters in "Iru Mugan." Expectations are high from the video, as the Tamil movie has generated a lot of positive talk around it through its first look.
Vikram will be seen in dual roles of a RAW agent and a ruthless baddie in "Iru Mugan." He has paired for the first time with Nayanthara, who is basking in the success of her recent hit films. She plays the role of an undercover agent in the flick, which will be reportedly dubbed in Telugu.
The movie has completed 60 percent of shooting and the remaining portions will be wrapped up in the next 45 days. Two schedules in Malaysia and Bangkok have been completed so far. The team will soon head to Kashmir to shoot key portions of the film.
The makers have plans to release the Tamil film in July.
Harris Jayaraj has composed the music while RD Rajasekhar is handling the cinematography and Buvan Srinivasan will edit the flick, which is being bankrolled by Shibu Thameens of "Puli" fame.
