Robin Uthappa will want to continue his good form for KKRIANS

The Kolkata Knight Riders have been near unbeatable at the Eden Gardens. The Delhi Daredevils have looked quite beatable in their recent games. Combine them and what you get is an obvious result.

Will that obvious result come about when these two teams meet in IPL 2017 Match 32?

KKR will want to strengthen their hold at the top of the IPL 2017 points table, while the Delhi Daredevils, who have won just one game in six previous matches at the Eden Gardens, will want to build some momentum in the hope of making a run into the top four.

Here is a look at how KKR vs DD could go.

If KKR bat first:

There is no Sunil Narine smash-bang this time as Kagiso Rabada dismisses the West Indian in the first over, beating the batsman for pace and hitting the top of middle stump.

Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa, the original KKR opening partnership, though, come together to put on 78 runs, which sets the KKR innings up perfectly.

The Delhi Daredevils pacers are effective without being quite as potent as they would have liked.

As a result, thanks to some nice batting from Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan and Suryakumar Yadav as well, KKR manage to get to 174.

This is far from a match-winning score, particularly in a day game, when batting seems to get easier in the second innings. But then DD have been unconvincing while chasing down totals.

Sensing that nervousness, the KKR pace bowlers come hard at the DD batsmen, and the result is three wickets falling in the Powerplay overs, that of Sanju Samson, Aditya Tare and Karun Nair.

Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant put on a solid partnership to ensure there is no Wankhede-style collapse, but the required run rate keeps getting away from them.

As a result, Pant goes for one shot too many and gets out, and while Chris Morris and Corey Anderson try their best, they are unable to take DD home, with KKR winning by 11 runs.

If Delhi Daredevils bat first:

Samson and Tare get DD off to a great start, and while Tare falls in the final over of the Powerplay, to Sunil Narine, Samson and Karun Nair get together for another nice partnership.

Once Samson is dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav for 46, Karun continues his innings on with Iyer, who is aggressive from ball one and in the mood.

Pant and Anderson come in to smash a few sixes as well, with Morris then giving DD further momentum by taking Chris Woakes for 19 runs in the final over.

Gambhir and Narine add 34 runs in three overs, before KKR suffer a double blow when Zaheer Khan picks up both the openers in the same over.

Uthappa and Pandey, though, steady the ship again and KKR look in control of the 178 chase.

In control they certainly prove to be, as Pandey and Uthappa take the equation all the way down to 41 from four overs, with Yusuf Pathan coming in and doing the rest to give KKR their seventh win in nine matches in IPL 2017.
