IPL 2016 is nearing its business end, with teams fighting it out for a place in the final four of the tournament. The online ticket sales for the IPL 2016 playoffs and the final will start from Friday.

With Rising Pune Supergiants already out of contention, and Kings XI Punjab almost out as well, the remaining teams will want to seal their name in the IPL 2016 playoffs.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions have almost made it to the IPL 2016 qualifiers. Both teams need just a win each to seal their places in the top four. Both Gujarat Lions and the Sunrisers have three matches in left. The kind of cricket these two teams have played, it will be a surprise if they do not make it to the playoff stages of the current edition of the IPL.

Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have played good cricket in IPL 2016 as well. They too have 12 points each, and are two of the contenders to book a place in the IPL 2016 Playoffs.

Mumbai Indians have been in indifferent form, and they have played one match more than KKR and the Daredevils.

Royal Challengers Bangalore also have a chance to make it to the Qualifiers, provided they win all their remaining matches.

The first Qualifier will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 24. The Eliminator will take place at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on May 25, which will be followed by the second qualifier on May 26 at the same venue.

The IPL 2016 final will be played at the Chinnaswamy on May 29. There will be a reserve day for the final as well. The other playoff matches have not been allotted reserve days.

The tickets for all the playoff games and the big final will be available on the official website of the IPL from 11 am on Friday.
