Bollywood actress and entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty said that her 13-month-old son, Viaan Raj Kundra, will make a public appearance at the Indian Premier League match between her team Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Jaipur's Mansingh Stadium on Monday.
"We have decided to bring him for our first match in Jaipur - our home ground. Maybe we are superstitious, but it was planned that way. Viaan has been to Jaipur before but this will be his first outing for a match," Shilpa told The Times of India.
The actress also said that she has designed an exclusive jersey for her son with his name embossed on it. She has also designed a collection of IPL themed designs for fans in collaboration with the brand Provogue.
"Yes, it is really cute. It's more like a team gear but smaller and with his name embossed at the back. In keeping with his fixation for bright colours, I have made it vibrant," she said about her son's jersey.
Since the birth of Viaan on 21 March, 2012, Shilpa shielded him from the cameras. This time, the actress has decided to let the press get a glimpse of her son right before he turns a year old.
Meanwhile, Shilpa said that she had no plans to make a comeback on the big screen as she is busy with the IPL and her home production.
"I am busy with IPL for at least the next two months. Then there's Super Fight League. Also, I am busy with Dishkiyaaoon, which is from my production house. But I miss acting and once I have even a little time I will act in a film. For a movie, you need to give a lot of your time," Shilpa said.
"And since Viaan needs proper attention, I am not jumping into anything right now. I get to spend a lot of time with him and each day is a great experience. However, I am a judge in a reality show on TV, so it's not like I am completely out of the glam world."
Her team Rajasthan Royals will take on Shah Rukh-owned Kolkata Knight Riders. Both teams have won their maiden match in the sixth season of the limited over game.
