The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 has entered the second stage of the tournament having finished the league matches.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) topped the table, followed by Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Only the top four teams made it to the Playoffs.
CSK are in the final after beating MI by 48 runs in the first qualifier match of the Playoffs. MI, which stood second in the table, will have another chance to make it to the final. They will now meet RR, winner of the eliminator match, in the second qualifier.
Third placed RR defeated SRH by four wickets in the eliminator match at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi on Wednesday. The winner of the second qualifier match (MI vs RR) will take on the CSK in the final at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Sunday.
Meanwhile, defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders had a disappointing outing this season, earning only 12 points from six wins. Delhi Daredevils are at the bottom of the table with six points, and Pune Warriors India are placed at 8th position with eight points.
