The Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on Tuesday. It is the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 and the second meeting for the teams this season.

Overview:

RR and DD have played against each other earlier this season, which the former won by five runs. DD will be keen to take revenge on Tuesday.

RR are placed in the fourth position of the table with 14 points after winning seven of the 11 matches played so far. They defeated Pune Warriors India by five wickets in their previous match. However, they are under pressure to win the next few games, as there is stiff competition from other teams for a place to the Play-Offs.

DD are almost out of the competition, winning just three of the 11 matches played so far. They conceded defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets in their previous game. They will have to win all the remaining five matches if they are to see their chance of making it to the Play-Offs.

Previous Meetings:

The teams have met 11 times, out of which RR won five and DD six. However, RR defeated DD by five runs in their meeting earlier this season.

Team News:

Rajasthan Royals: Skipper Rahul Dravid, Ajinkya Rahane and Stuart Binny helped the team chase 178 total posted by Pune Warriors India in the previous match. Shane Watson and Sanju Samson are also in good form. Their batting line-up is getting stronger and stronger with each game.

On the bowling front, they have James Faulkner, Ajit Chandila, Kevon Cooper, Sreesanth, Siddharth Trivedi, Shane Watson and Shaun Tait. They took only two wickets each in the last two matches. They will be keen to take early wickets and restrict their opponents from scoring at will.

Delhi Daredevils: The batting line-up of the team collapsed completely in the previous match, managing to score only 80 runs. David Warner is the only consistent player from the team. Skipper Mahela Jayawardena, Virender Sehwag, Roelof Van Der Merwe, Manprit Juneja, Unmukt Chand and others need to contribute with their bats before it's too late.

In the bowling department, they have Umesh Yadav, Irfan Pathan, Morne Morkel, Ashish Nehra and Shahbaz Nadeem. They have performed reasonably well this season, restricting the total of their opponents on a few occasions.

Prediction:

DD are a dangerous team with big hitters and they can beat any team on their day despite their poor show this season, going by the current performance, RR are the favourites to win on Tuesday.
