The Delhi Daredevils (DD) will take on the Mumbai Indians (MI) again on Sunday after conceding defeat in their last meeting at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. This time, they will play at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.

Overview:

The DD are reeling at the bottom of the table after losing all the six matches played so far. They lost to Chennai Super Kings by a big margin of 86 runs in the previous game, and were defeated by MI in their last meeting of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013. It's now or never for the team, as a lost will knock them out of the competition.

The MI have six points on the table after winning three of the five matches played so far. They has earlier defeated DD in their previous meeting this season but the defeat to the Rajasthan Royals in their previous game by a huge margin has cast doubt on the consistency of the team.

Previous Meetings:

The DD and MI have met 11 times in the past with the former winning six matches and the latter five. MI beat DD by 44 runs in their meeting this season.

Team News:

Delhi Daredevils: They were bowled out for 83 runs in their previous match despite the presence of some big names. The top order of the team - Virender Sehwag, Mahela Jayawardena, David Warner and Manprit Juneja - needs to fire on Sunday to breath in some hope to stay in the competition.

They have bowlers like Ashish Nehra, Umesh Yadav, Morne Morkel, Johan Botha, Siddarth Kaul, Shahbaz Nadeem and Irfan Pathan but their performance is not impressive so far. They let CSK amass a huge total on the previous match, taking only three wickets.

Mumbai Indians: The dream opening pair of Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting has not performed so far but wicket keeper Dinesh Karthik's form this season has turned out to be the strength for the team. Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu and Kieron Pollard have also contributed well. However, they managed to score only 92 runs in their previous match against the RR, exposing the loophole in their batting line-up.

They are strong at bowling department too with the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Lasith Malinga, Mitchell Johnson, Pragyan Ojha, Munaf Patel, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishi Dhawan at their disposal. However, they let RR amass 179 runs for three wickets in their previous match, which will worry the think-tank of the team.

Prediction:

DD are a wounded team, failing to add point on the table, and the Sunday's match will played at their home turf but MI are a team to beat with a strong batting line-up and star attacking bowlers. Ricky Ponting's men are the favourite to win on Sunday's first match.
