The images of the purported iPhone 6 have been leaked online, amid speculations around its release, hinting that Apple Inc. might go for an early launch of its new flagship smartphone.

Taiwanese pop star Jimmy Lin posted suspected images of the 4.7-inch model of iPhone 6, alongside its predecessors iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S, on his Chinese microblog platform Weibo, reported South China Morning Post

"[It has] a 4.7-inch screen. Its power button is moved slightly to the right, and an antenna is no longer concealed inside," posted tech savvy Lin, along with three pictures of the purported next generation Apple smartphone.

The leaked images show the purported smartphone with a bigger screen and more rounded look, very much in sync with earlier speculations.

The post has generated lots of interest among gadget lovers as the 39-year-old Taiwanese celebrity had earlier revealed the images of iPhone 5C and the size of iPad Mini, which both turned out to be right.
