Intex Elyt E6 is targeted towards the selfie-loving crowd and will be competing against the likes of the recently-launched Redmi Y1 and even the Redmi 5A, since they fall in the same price point.

Intex Elyt E6 specifications

Talking about the specs, Intex Elyt E6 sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved Asahi "Dragontrail" glass protection on top. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.3Ghz, which is mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expanded further via a microSD card (up to 128GB).

The Elyt E6 comes equipped with a 13MP autofocus camera at the back, accompanied by an LED flash. As mentioned earlier, the front-facing selfie camera is an 8MP unit that's bundled with a host of software features including a bokeh-mode that lends a "depth effect" to the photos.

The Intex E6 is backed by a massive 4000mAh Li-Po non-removable battery, which Intex claims delivers up to 16 hours of talk time or more than 12 days of standby time on a single charge.

In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG and dual-SIM support.

Intex Elyt E6 is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and comes in a black colour option.

"Our special Elyt series launched this year has been well-received in the market and going with the consumers' response we have launched ELYT E6 model, designed for the online platform (Exclusively on Flipkart) for tech-savvy youth," Nidhi Markanday, Director, Intex Technologies, said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Intex recently launched the Elyt Dual with 8MP+2MP dual selfie camera setup in India for Rs 6,999. Prior to that, Intex also launched the Elyt E7 with a larger 4,020 mAh battery and a bigger 5.2-inch display for Rs 7,999.
