New Delhi based technology company, Intex Mobile has released a new quad-core smartphone Aqua HD into the Indian market.

The new Intex smartphone sports a 4.7-inch TFT screen with HF 720x1280p resolutions and runs on the Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek Quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card).

The new Intex phone houses a 13.0-megapixel camera with flash support and auto-focus features on the rear side and flaunts a 5.0-megapixel camera on the front side.

Intex Aqua HD is available to Indian buyers via online store Infibeam for ₹15,900.

Earlier in the week (4 September), Intex had unveiled its flagship smartphone Aqua i7 in Mumbai. It sports 5.0-inch IPS full HD (1920x1080p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass shield and runs on the Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS.

Under the hood, it packs high-end specifications such as 1.5GHz MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM (no microSD card slot) and a battery with 2000 mAh capacity. The company has confirmed that the newly unveiled phone will be made available across India on 9 September for ₹21,900.
