Ahmedabad, Jan 10 (ANI): The International Kite Festival kicked off in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat on Saturday with Chief Minister Anandiben Patel inaugurating the four-day event. The festival attracts enthusiastic kite makers and flyers from across the globe. Kites in various shapes and hues took over the Ahmedabad sky as foreign and local kite flyers competed with each other. The festival that marks the end of winter will culminate on January 13. As many as 150 international kite flyers are participating in the festival along with domestic participation from various parts of the country. Various musical and cultural programmes have also been arranged to showcase the local flavor to foreign tourists thronging the city for the festival.
