New Delhi, July 4 (ANI): A group of Indian workers stranded in Iraq made a safe return to New Delhi on Friday with the help of the country_s embassy. The nationals flew back to India in the early hours of the day with the support of the embassy officials after they claimed that the companies they worked with refused to send them back. The workers heaved a sigh of relief and embraced their families waiting for them at the international airport in the national capital. They also said their friends and colleagues were still stuck in the turmoil-hit Iraq and the situation in Bagdhad was getting worse with each passing day. About 10,000 Indian nationals work in Iraq, mostly in areas unaffected by the fighting between the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and the national army.
