FC Pune City announced that the German sports apparel giants Adidas will sponsor their home and away kit for the next three seasons of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 on Thursday evening.

FC Pune City's new signings Adrian Mutu, Didier Zokora, Tuncay Sanli and Indian recruit Eugeneson Lyngdoh unveiled the home and away kit for the upcoming ISL 2015.

"Given the youth and student population of Pune and its rich sporting culture,this is a vital partnership for Adidas.The design of the kit while appealing to the loyal supporters of the game and the club, will also showcase our expertise in creating state of the art performance products," the brand director of Adidas India Damyant Singh said at the event.

The new kit is almost similar to the one that Adidas recently designed for Manchester United in terms of technology. The German sporting giant ensured that the players will sweat less in these jerseys and they can easily spend 90 minutes on the pitch.

"The new kit design resonates the club's motto of 'Play To Win'. The jersey gives fans the closest experience of being a part of the club. I feel adidas is a brand of champions and our team which is full of champions deserves an association like adidas," FC Pune City CEO Gaurav Modwel added during the event. 

The signings of the FC Pune City for ISL 2015 are of some magnitude and potetntial. They are likely to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming edition of ISL.

Ivory Coast international Zokora also opined a couple of days ago that their side can be the new champions of the star-studded league. FC Pune City do have a lot of power in their side and are likely to put up a tough challenge in front of their opponents.

Pune City will begin their ISL 2015 campaign against their local rivals Mumbai City FC on 6 October at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune.
