Bihar/ Jammu and Kashmir, April 9 (ANI): Beefing up security ahead of general elections, the security forces met in the sensitive constituencies of the political hotbeds of Jammu and Kashmir and Bihar to ensure safe and peaceful polls. The high level security meeting held in Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir district discussed the security issues where the Inspector General of Police Rajesh Kumar clarified on the detailed duties assigned to the officials. On the other hand, security has been tightened in the Maoist hotbed of Bihar. Amid Maoist threat looming large, Gaya constituency is scheduled to go to polls on April 10. Senior superintendent of police, Gaya district in Bihar, Nishant Kumar Tiwari said that additional 18,000 forces have been deployed in the constituency to ensure peaceful polls.
