Jalandhar /New Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov 5 (ANI): The Indian cricket fraternity has unanimously backed cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's claims made in his autobiography about former team coach Greg Chappell. Reportedly, in his soon to be released autobiography titled 'Playing It My Way', Tendulkar has said that just before the 2007 World Cup, Chappell had approached him to replace former cricketer Rahul Dravid as the team captain. Further in his autobiography, Tendulkar is claimed to have mentioned that Chappell had told Tendulkar that together they could control the Indian cricket for years. Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman also supported Tendulkar, saying he has the right to make such revelations.
