New York, Se 29 (ANI): Indian-Americans in New York expressed confidence in Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and looked forward to his developmental plans for the country after his historic speech at the Madison Square Garden. Modi was welcomed into the world's most famous arena with people cheering 'Modi Modi'. After his speech he was given a standing ovation by the crowd of 18,000 people. Dressed in a yellow kurta and peach waistcoat, Modi delivered his speech at jam packed Madison Square Garden amid loud cheering and thanked his supporters. An Indian-American, Komal Sharma said she has full faith in Modi and his global vision. The Indian Diaspora hopes this visit by a leader who was until recently barred from the United States will signify India's importance not only on these shores but in the wider world too.
