New Delhi, Nov 03 (ANI): Environment and Forests Minister Prakash Javadekar on Monday said that the government would be setting up a centre for zoo Sciences very soon. While speaking at the 69th conference of World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), Javadekar said that children are restricted to watching wildlife on television only and they should get a better understanding by visiting zoos. The minister added that the institution would act as a technical advisor to Central Zoo Authority and provide help to several states. Research work will also be conducted in the institution. Javadekar said he expects that the research work will lead to in-breeding of endangered species. The conference is being attended by 180 participants from 35 countries and will conclude on November 06.
