Amritsar/ Guwahati/ Puri, Dec 01 (ANI): People, including women and schoolchildren, did their bit to spread awareness on pandemic to mark World AIDS Day on Sunday. Hospitals, schools and artists across India organised rallies, walks and even created sand art to spread the message that prevention is better than cure. Medical Director of Fortis Hospital in Amritsar Dr. H.P. Singh spoke about how the disease can be fully prevented. Meanwhile, even schoolchildren in Amritsar took the forefront and held a skating rally. Principal of Millennium School, Mukesh Shilet emphasised on the importance of such awareness campaigns to demonstrate international solidarity against the pandemic. International sand artist, Sudarshan Pattnaik also spread the message through his art on the beach in Puri.
