Kanpur / Jaipur / Nagpur, June 07 (ANI): The blazing sun and intense heat wave continued in many on Saturday, with temperatures remaining above 45 degrees Celsius, and people out in the sun flocked to roadside refreshment stalls to quench their thirst. The weather department on June 06 had said heat wave will intensify in northern India, predicting no rainfall or thunderstorm activity for the next few days. A resident of Kanpur Rakesh, said hot summers have left people helpless and they are looking for ways to protect themselves when venturing out in the sun. People are seen carrying umbrellas, wearing protective clothing and drinking cold beverages to protect themselves from the sweltering heat.
