New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon said India could play a leadership role in addressing global challenges like maintenance of regional and global peace, human rights violations and clean development. The UN chief called upon India for greater contribution towards formulating a meaningful climate change agreement and work towards a better and sustainable world, which would benefit all. Ban underlined poverty, displacement and international militancy as human problems. He also urged India and Pakistan to resolve old disputes, peacefully. Meanwhile, Ban also encouraged Indian leaders to help Afghanistan to develop.
