New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): Indian army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag on Saturday laid wreath at war memorial to commemorate 200 years of Gorkha regiment. The Gorkha regiment was set up by British government for their valour and fighting ability to protect the empire. Suhag paid his respects at the India Gate, which was built in the memory of Indian soldiers killed during World War-I. Gorkha regiment comprising Gurkha Indian soldiers of Nepalese origin have a history of courage in battle, evident from the gallantry awards won by Gorkha soldiers.
