Moradabad, July 22 (ANI): Incessant rains have caused floods in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh, drowning nearby villages. Last week also, after the district experienced rainfall for hours, around 25 villages were submerged in the flood waters. While cooking food on a rooftop, a resident, Sushma, said on Tuesday this is the only place in her house where the water has not reached yet. An officer of Central Water Commission, Manoj Kumar, said flood danger further persists as the water level of Ramgana river, which flows through the city, is five centimeters below danger level but is likely to go up.
