Tamil superstar Vijay's father was admitted to a private hospital in Kottayam on Wednesday, Aug. 24, after he slipped and fell at a resort in Kumarakom.
The renowned director-producer SA Chandrasekhar is said to have suffered serious injuries on his head and spine. According to Manorama news, Ilayathalapathy is expected to reach Kottayam today.
Vijay is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie, tentatively titled "Vijay 60." The action thriller, written and directed by Bharathan, stars Keerthy Suresh and Aparna Vinod in the female lead roles. The film, which is being bankrolled by B Bharathi under the banner of Vijaya Productions, also has Sathish and Jagapathi Babu in significant roles.
