Ram Gopal Varma, who recently got lots of criticism for Ice Cream announced that he is coming up with Ice Cream 2. The director said that the movie was made on a limited budget and used new technology. According to our source, the budget of the film was below 5 lakhs and none of the technicians and artistes received any remuneration. Once the film was released, everybody was to share the revenue. The producer announced that the film was a huge hit and in two days it fetched around Rs 86 lakhs. On Wednesday, the producer Rama Satyanarayana, presented all the technicians and the artistes, including Ram Gopal Varma, their remuneration in front of the media. He then announced that he is happy to produce Ice Cream 2 with RGV. Dasari Narayana Rao, who was the chief guest, praised RGV for introducing new technology to Telugu cinema.
