Mumbai-based technology company iBall expanded its Andi series smartphone range in India with a new device called Andi 3.5KKe.

The all-new Andi 3.5KKe comes with a price tag of ₹3,399. On the specifications front, the device sports a 3.5-inch capacitive HVGA display with 320X480 pixel resolution and is powered by 1GHz Cortex A9 processor. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs 256MB RAM and an internal storage of 512MB which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and A-GPS and houses a 3.2-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash along with a VGA camera. The handset is backed by a 1450mAh battery.

With the launch of the affordable Andi 3.5KKe smartphone, iBall hopes to seize a large share in the budget-conscious market.

Last week, the company had launched the iBall tablet PC Slide 3G-9728 in India for ₹15,000. The tablet sports a 9.7-inch XGA HD (1024x768p) screen and runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with 1GB DDR3 RAM and 16G internal memory. The tablet is powered by a 1.0GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor. Other specifications include a 5.0-megapixel camera on the rear-side, a VGA camera for video-calling and a 6000 mAh battery.
