Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced a new edition of its popular Grand i10 in the country as part of its first anniversary celebration.

Christened as 'SportZ Edition', the new anniversary edition comes with a lot of changes both inside and outside. The SportZ edition gets 14 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, leather wrap on steering wheel, rear spoiler, B-Pillar blackout along with body graphics. The premium full cloth upholstery in red has further augmented the looks of the car.

On the mechanical front, the new edition of Grand i10 retains the same 1.1 litre CRDi diesel engine and the 1.2 litre Kappa petrol.

The petrol engine can churn out a higher power of 83 PS and 116 Nm torque and the diesel model delivers 71 PS power and 163 Nm of torque.

Grand SportZ Edition petrol has been priced at ₹5,11,550 and the diesel version gets a price tag of ₹5,98,554 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Originally launched in petrol and diesel variants, Hyundai Grand i10 comes loaded with premium features like smart key, push button start/stop, a double DIN audio system with 1GB internal memory, Bluetooth connectivity, Aux-in and USB connectivity, steering mounted audio controls, A/C vent for rear passengers, rear parking sensors, glove box cooling and electric ORVMs.

Meanwhile, Hyundai's recently launched Elite i20 is receiving an overwhelming response in the country. The Elite i20 has already garnered over 12,000 bookings in the country within two weeks of its entry into the market.

Launched on 11 August, Elite i20 is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options in India. Under the hood, the car packs 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre CRDi diesel motor. While the petrol engine of Elite i20 can churn out 83 PS of power and peak torque of 114 Nm, the diesel motor is tuned to generate 90 PS of power and peak torque of 220 Nm.
