Hyundai Genesis G90 (EQ900) luxury sedan, the first car from the newly formed Genesis brand of Hyundai, is about to hit the showroom in Korea on 9 December (Wednesday). The latest news is that ahead of its much-anticipated launch, the luxury sedan has raked in nearly 10,000 bookings so far.
The emerging reports from Korea suggest that the G90 luxury sedan which was unveiled in November is getting overwhelming responses from the auto lovers even before it breaks the cover in the country. According to Chosunilbo, the model has got 9,700 pre-orders already and is expected to cross 10,000 before launch.
The G90 which will sport a more unique and luxurious design will get large radiator grille combined with sophisticated headlamps up front and will boast of the world's best safety features and technological innovations to set itself apart in the luxury market. The new sedan is designed by the prestige design division of Hyundai headed by Luc Donckerwolke.
Genesis, the standalone new brand of Hyundai which will have six new models in its line-up by 2020, will initially launch its models in the Korean, Chinese, North American and Middle Eastern luxury car markets. The brand will expand its reach to Europe and other parts of Asia once it has established itself in the luxury car market.
