Hyundai's Elite i20 based crossover i20 Cross has been spied once again in the country, this time showing its LED daytime running lights.

The latest spy shots of Elite i20 Cross comes from CarDekho, which caught the car on test in Chennai. There is not much to talk about the styling and design of the upcoming i20 Cross as the crossover chose to hide under its heavy camouflage. However, the test mule spotted here in the images shows LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps, signifying that the LED could be the major USP of upcoming Hyundai car.

Engine wise, the new Elite i20 Cross is expected to pack the same engine of its smaller sibling elite i20. The current Elite i20 packs 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre CRDi diesel motor. While the petrol engine of churns out 83 PS of power and peak torque of 114 Nm, the diesel motor is tuned to generate 90 PS of power and peak torque of 220 Nm. Although we are not sure of the styling changes in the i20 Cross yet, rumours indicate that the car would have aluminium roof rails, new body claddings and different alloy wheels to pamper the auto enthusiasts.

The Hyundai crossover is likely to see the light of day in 2015 and when launched, the car will rival Toyota Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura and Volkswagen Polo Cross. The Elite i20 Cross is likely to fall in the price brackets of ₹8 lakh.
