Inside the cabin too, the new Elite i20 Cross is likely to include changes. For the oily bits, the upcoming crossover is expected to include the same engine of its sibling Elite i20.

The current Elite i20 packs 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre CRDi diesel motor. The petrol engine is tuned to churn out 83PS power and a peak torque of 114Nm and the diesel motor capable of generating 90PS power and a peak torque of 220Nm.

Once it hits the market, Elite i20 will be competing against the likes of Toyota Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura and Volkswagen Polo Cross and the model is expected to get a price tag of around ₹8 lakh.
