Hyundai Creta, the SUV based on ix25, is slated to make its India debut on 21 June. The model was caught on camera numerous times while undergoing test runs in the country and the latest batch of spy shots come from Indian autos Blog readers Chetan Yadav and Charan Kumar.

In the latest images, what is interesting is that unlike before, Creta has shed its thick camouflage from its side body to show its white and silver body paints.

The production of Hyundai Creta is expected to begin at the company's Chennai plant from 20 June (Saturday) and the model is already being previewed on the official website with rendering images.

Under the skin, Hyundai Creta is expected to be 1.6-litre petrol and diesel mills and the transmission duties are expected be taken care of by 5- and 6-speed manual transmission.

Hyundai Creta, the latest offering from the South Korean maker, will join the league of Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano in India and is likely to be priced between ₹8 lakh and ₹12 lakh.
