Actor Navdeep ‏has joined hands with Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati in providing relief materials to the victims, who have been affected by heavy rain fall and floods in Hyderabad for last few days.

The actor took to his Twitter handle on September 22 to express his support to the people of the city. He tweeted: "Nature is testing us again! Dont let ur spirits down hyderabad stay strong.. !! Arranging some ready-to-eat food packets for water-logged areas today. here to help. pls let us know however we can!"

Navdeep managed to take a stock of the situation through his fans and other sources and revealed the amount of relief materials needed in various areas. The actor requested his Twitter followers to make a generous donation for the cause. He tweeted: "Thanks to kind souls who care we have 3000 food packets to be distributed at Malkajgiri,alwal, as.rao nagar n kukutpally today."

The actor continued: "BIG is nothing if not used before a HEART! Proven once again that indeed compassion and empathy is thriving in todays world! 3200 (1/2) souls fed today and 2500 for tmrw linedup already! Thanking syala drivein, 36 drivein, and swapna dutt for their contribution :) (2/2) Saviours of the day r ngos robinhood army and vcare :) good job guys."

He added: "Drive 1 Alwal food distribution for 2000 Drive 2 Malkajgiri food distribution for 1000 Drive 3 waharnagar food distribution for (1/4) 400 Drive 4 Madhapur food distribution for 500 Drive 5 Secunderanad food distribution for 400 Is being achieved today. Moving on (2/4) to phase 2 we will need New/used Blanket, Rugs, Bedsheets, Clothes, footwear and non perishable food items like Biscuits, Rusk etc (3/4) The doors of Ramanaidu studios will be open 24hrs for collection! (4/4) (sic)"

Meanwhile, Navdeep also mentioned the need for volunteers in Himayath Nagar and requested to join the team. He tweeted: "Need volunteers at himayath nagar around 9.30 am tmrw for to help pack food. kindly approach @NGOVcare sandeep :) thanks in advance."
