Hugh Hefner's former girlfriend is currently promoting her memoir "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny" and she has a surprising bit of advice for aspiring Playboy models.

In a chat with E!Online, Madison said that she wouldn't advise Playboy models to pose nude, as they won't have creative control over the pictures or how they are used. She added that although it might seem like an interesting idea when one is in her 20s, perception might change when the person is in her 30s or 40s.

"Girls talk to me all the time about wanting to pose, but these days I kind of advise against it," Madison said. "You don't have control over them—someone else does. They can bring them out of the archives at any time. You don't have creative control over what the pictures look like. It's just something people should think about five times before doing."

Madison also claims in the book that living in the Playboy mansion made her contemplate suicide, as she was allegedly tortured both emotionally and verbally by Hefner. She also called the 89-year-old a manipulator who is believed to have offered her drugs, and would often pit the girls against each other.

Despite all these allegations, Madison stated that the memoir wasn't a means to seek revenge.
Hefner recently reacted to these claims saying Madison was twisting the truth to stay in the limelight.

"Over the course of my life I've had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women," the Playboy founder explained to Us Weekly. "Many moved on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives, and I'm pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess, as the old saying goes: You can't win 'em all!"
