The recently-launched Google Nexus 6P Gold variant can now be pre-booked in India.

Huawei's official e-commerce affiliate Flipkart has begun taking orders from consumers. Delivery of the device is set to begin on 29 December.

Customers who buy the gold model through the mobile app get Huawei's official back cover in the package for free.

Flipkart is also offering Rs 3,000 store credit and exchange deal on 32GB and 64GB models on standard grey and silver variants as well.

The new Nexus 6P model flaunts a gold-hued metal shell with a matching grey Nexus engraving on the back. It costs Rs 43,999, which is Rs 1,000 more than the regular grey and silver variants. It is available in 64GB storage capacity only.

The hardware of the new gold variant is same as seen inside the standard models.

It sports a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display and runs the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS powered by Snapdragon 810 v2.1 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB inbuilt storage, a 3,450-mAh battery and an 8MP snapper on the front.

Nexus 6P also features a 12.3MP camera with Broad-spectrum CRI-90 dual-LED flash, IR assisted laser-autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, 1.55µm sensor and 4K video recording.
