Chinese electronics major Huawei on Monday pulled the wraps of its new mini-tablet PC MediaPad 7 Vogue in its home country.

During the launch, Huawei Consumer Business Group, Chief Executive Officer, Richard Yu said, "Building on the popularity of the HUAWEI MediaPad series, we've created a new tablet that caters to fashionistas, technology seekers, entertainment junkies, and people who simply expect more from their technology,"

"We're delighted to introduce the MediaPad 7 Vogue, our call-enabled tablet with world-class entertainment capabilities and long-lasting battery power. The MediaPad 7 Vogue is a perfect example of Huawei's dedication to making extraordinary experiences possible," he added.

Huawei's new tablet sports a 7.0-inch IPS capacitive multi-touch screen with 1024x600p resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz HiSilicon quad-core processor with 16-core graphics engine.

The company claims that the MediaPad 7 Vogue would come with Emotion UI interface on top of the primary OS Android v4.1 Jelly Bean.

Huawei has confirmed that the MediaPad 7 Vogue would hit Chinese stores by the end of this month and later in other markets. However, the company is still tight lipped regarding the price details of the new mini-tablet.

Earlier this month, Huawei launched in India two devices - one MediaPad 10 Link tablet and Ascend Mate phablet, with the same price-tag of ₹24,990.
