Huawei is expected to announce a few devices at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC 2016) in Barcelona, Spain, between Feb. 22 and Feb. 25. Devices like Huawei P9, P9 Lite and P9 Max are likely to be unveiled at the event, and now a new tablet called Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro could join the list.
The Chinese company hasn't revealed any detail about the speculated tablet so far, but reports suggested that it could be showcased at the MWC 2016. Even if it is not announced at the event, its launch may not be far off, as more features have been leaked online.
Popular leakster Evan Blass @evleaks has revealed major specifications of Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro on his Twitter page. He claimed that the tablet will sport a 10.1-inch Full HD display, measure 8.5mm in thickness, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and come packed with a 16GB internal memory, expandable via microSD card and 2GB RAM.
The leak claimed that the tablet will mount an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-snapper, and powered by a 6660mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it is claimed to support LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1.
It may be mentioned that Huawei released showcased MediaPad M2 10 at the CES 2016 earlier last month and it looks very similar to the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro (in picture shared by Evan Blass). The tablet sports a 10.1-inch IPS FHD screen with 1,920X1,200 pixels and measures 7.35 mm thin. Under the hood, it has a Hisilicon Kirin 930 processor, Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI3.1, 16GB/64GB inbuilt memory, 2GB/3GB RAM, a 13MP main camera, 5Mp secondary camera and a 6,660mAh battery.
