Huawei Launches Honor 3X Pro, 3C 4G Smartphones; Price, Availability Details

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has launched two new smartphones - Honor 3X Pro and Honor 3C 4G in China.

The pre-order windows for both the smartphones will be open from Saturday (24 May) and the phones will go on sale starting from 5 June.

Talking of Honor 3X Pro, the handset which is believed to be the upgraded version of the Honor 3X, sports 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) HD IPS LTPS display and is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592) processor coupled with Mali 450-MP4 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Honor 3X Pro is not much different from its predecessor except in the resolution of the screen and the internal memory, according to Unwired view.

The smartphone houses 13.0-megapixel rear camera and 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Huawei's latest smartphone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and comes loaded with 3,000 mAh battery. The handset packs 16GB of inbuilt storage, with expandable option and will be shipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The Huawei Honor 3X Pro has been priced at 1698 Yuan.

Coming to the Honor 3C 4G, the smartphone comes in two variants – one with 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage and the other with 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. While the former one is priced at 998 Yuan, the latter comes with a price tag of 1298 Yuan.

The Honor 3C 4G features 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD LTPS display and is powered by 1.6 GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910 processor coupled with Mali-450 GPU. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

Talking of the imaging capacity of the handset, it houses 8.0-megapixel rear camera along with 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features of the smartphone include 2,300 mAh battery and 4G support (TD-LTE for China Mobile).

The company is yet to announce the global availability of these new smartphones.

In India, Huawei has recently launched three smartphones namely the Honor 3C, Ascend G6 and Ascend G750. The Honor 3C smartphone is priced at ₹14, 999, while the Ascend G6 and Ascend G750 are available at a price point of ₹16,999 and ₹24,999 respectively.
