Competing with industry's leading smartphone makers, Chinese company Huawei continues to launch new models in its successful Honor smartphone lineup. The latest entry is Huawei's Honor 4X smartphone, which is scheduled to go on sale in India on Monday. This will be the first flash sale for the powerful budget smartphone and the 6-day registration window closes Sunda, 29 March.
Huawei has attracted a lot of traction for its Honor 4X, with more than 1 lakh registrations on the first day. Following the sales strategy of Xiaomi and Lenovo, the flash sale 1.0 will commence at 2 pm on Monday exclusively on Flipkart.
"We plan to tap the untouched Indian consumers and emerging markets, especially the youth with our innovative technology offering. We are thrilled to partner with Flipkart.com once again for Honor 4X and see this as a great opportunity to provide customers with a promising product," said Allen Wang, president of the consumer business group, Huawei India, according to Financial Express.
Huawei Honor 4X packs incredibly great features for the price. The handset sports a 5.5-inch HD 720p screen and OTP single screen calibration to achieve high-definition image colours suitable for 3D games and HD movies. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64 bit Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 1.2Ghz quad-core processor backed by a 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU for graphics.
The camera module is the biggest USP for the Honor 4X smartphone, featuring a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front snapper. The smartphone maker promises 72 hours of life with its powerful 3,000mAh battery. The handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI skin on top.
The Honor 4X has room for dual SIM and supports high speed 4G LTE on both cards.
To promote pre-booking of the handset, Huawei is also running a lucky draw through which it will choose winners. As a prize, buyers will get an option to add a limited edition bundle to the phone for just Re 1, which includes a 3,000mAh power bank, premium engine headphone and colorful back cover.
It is quite a deal for budget smartphone shoppers, who can bag all these great features and limited edition bundle (if lucky) at a price of just Rs 10,500. Be sure to register for the flash sale before Sunday midnight to be eligible for the purchase via Flipkart.
