More details of HTC's upcoming device dubbed as the One M10 aka Perfume have been leaked over the last few weeks as its release date is drawing close. Now, reports are doing the rounds that the unveiling of the device can be pushed to a new date and the handset could come with a new name.

It was earlier reported that the One M9 successor will be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC 2016), which is starting on 22 February, before claims emerged that it will be unveiled at a different date in March. Now, 4GNews (via Android Headlines) has reported, citing sources, that the device will be launched on 11 April.

The report went on to claim that the Taiwanese company may not name the upcoming next-generation device as One M10, though it may not discard the word "One." So, will it be called One Perfume? Earlier reports have claimed so, but nothing is confirmed at the moment.

According to reports that have appeared so far, HTC's new device will sport a 5.1-inch QHD display with a 1,440x2,560 pixels, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, house an Adreno 530 GPU and run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.0 UI. It is also reported that the device will come with features like IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, a 64GB and128GB internal storage with microSD card slot, a 4GB RAM, a 23MP main camera and a 3,500mAh battery.

Interestingly, popular leakster LlabTooFeR has claimed on his Twitter page that the upcoming HTC Perfume will sport a 5.2-inch screen, which is bigger than the One M9 by 0.2-inch. Another leakster, Evan Blass @evleaks, has also tweeted that HTC will discard the black bar seen in its devices.
