Taiwan based smartphone and tablets maker HTC launched its much-awaited Android based One SV smartphone.

"The HTC One SV heralds the next generation of smartphone performance and lightning fast mobile Internet," said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.

He further said, "We're delighted to help fuel the spread of 4G LTE networks worldwide with models that enable our customers to enjoy web browsing, movie streaming and Internet radio more quickly and more smoothly than ever before,"  reported ThinkDigit.

The smartphone maker HTC has released the One SV smartphone with 4G/LTE connectivity in the UK, where it recently started 4G services in select cities across the country.

The One SV smartphone is currently available in the UK and is expected to be launched in the US as well.

However, the availability of the HTC One SV smartphone in India and other Asian markets is still under wraps.

Recently, HTC released the 'J Butterfly' smartphone in Taiwan some days ago, the company also unveiled the global variant of the same phone 'Butterfly' (minus the J).
