HTC Desire Eye, One M8 Eye Tipped to Release in India Soon

Taiwanese smartphone major HTC is reportedly prepping to release new HTC One variants One M8 Eye and the One E8 Eye in India soon.

Technology blog, Gadgetz Arena while sifting through, Zauba.com, an India-based export-import logistic website, has stumbled up on the manifests of yet-to-be-annouced HTC One variant E8 Eye models (Gray and Silver) priced ₹27, 275 a unit, reportedly imported from Taiwan to India (Chennai).

In the very same website, another variant - M8 Eye stocks priced a ₹27,370 a piece have also been confirmed to be shipped to India (received at Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai) from Taiwan.

Both HTC One -E8 Eye and M8 Eye are yet to be officially unveiled by the company and now going by the leaked manifests, we are certain, it's just a matter of days, HTC to officially make the devices public.

As far as specifications of HTC devices is concerned, One E8 Eye is expected to sport 5.0-inch full HD display and ship with Android OS with Sense UI powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 series quad-core processor aptly backed by 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (with expansion option), a 13.0-megapixel camera, 5.0-megapixel snapper on the front and a 2,600mAh battery.

On the other hand, M8 Eye is said to boast top-of-the-line hardware seen inside the 2014 flagship metal-clad HTC One along with photography enhancing HTC Eye Experience apps.

It is said to feature split capture, which lets user to combine simultaneous photos and videos taken from the front and back cameras into one split-screen image or video and crop-me-in, which lets user to put people in any scenic places captured by phone.

Apart from this, it will also have voice-selfie, in which users can use voice-command to take snapshot, just by calling the phrase – 'say cheese', face-fusion technology that can merge two different people's faces into believable original photo and live make-up that can edit skin smoothness to desired level during real-time photo session.

Last week, HTC announced a new smartphone Desire Eye. It sports 5.2-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display and inside, it is powered-packed with Snapdragon 801series quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 2,400mAh battery, which can run the phone for 20 hours of talk time and close to 538 hours under standby mode.
