Hype around HTC One M10 aka Perfume is beginning to gain momentum as its release date draws close. It has now emerged the flagship device will come with a bigger-than-expected screen.

The Taiwanese mobile phone-maker is expected to unveil its next-generation device, HTC One M10, in March before releasing a few weeks later, perhaps in April. It was earlier reported that the device would be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC 2016), which is starting on Feb. 22, but that is unlikely to happen.

Popular leakster LlabTooFeR has now claimed the upcoming HTC One M10 (Perfume) will sport a 5.2-inch screen, which is bigger than the One M9 by 0.2 inch.

It was earlier reported that HTC One M10 would sport a 5.1-inch QHD display with a 1,440x2,560 pixel resolution, as compared to the 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with a 1,080x1,920 pixel (441 ppi pixel density) resolution seen in the One M9 released last year.

Reports have it that the device will come with features like IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, an Adreno 530 GPU, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.0 UI. It may also have 64GB and128GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 4GB RAM, a 23MP main camera, and a 3,500mAh battery.

Evan Blass or @evleaks, who is known for leaking details of smartphones, has claimed in a Twitter post that HTC will discard the black bar seen in its devices. Display size will increased if the branded black bar is done away with, but there is high possibility of a drop in audio quality, as it hides the BoomSound speaker chamber.
